Alma, and everyone, I don't know where to begin!!

What a week, Women of Olivia gone wild!, these girls were partying till the wee hours of the morning and then we had to be off the ship by 10:00 am.

I haven't check Jacky's updates but I was next to her one morning on the internet cafe as she was typing away feverishly!!

It was such a hectic week and let me tell you the L word lady's work very hard and very long hours for their money. 16- 17 hour days maybe more because it can take up to 2 hrs to shoot 1 single, 1 min scene. I'm exhausted and I was only an extra.

I agree with Jacky that Erin and the rest of the cast Leisha, Kate, Jenny are tiny little things. Erin - I would say is about 5'3'-5'4'' and the tiniest little waist, she's so adorable and friendly as can be!! And let me tell ya that smile is more radiant in person.

Oh!!, By the way High, You have no idea how close I was to getting the niice jeans for you, Soo close, closer than you and I ever could imagine. And it was by accident right place @the right time, I'll explain further tomorrow.

Hate to go but I just got home and jumped right onto the computer and my luggage is strewned all over the place, I'm so exhausted I feel I haven't slept all week every morning there was an extras meeting ! This is tiring work, How the hell do they do it for 6 months straight. Well got to get some rest. I have plenty to fill you girls in on. I have pics too but I should have refrained from using the flash!!

If Erin reads this, nevermind J  As captain James Peter Dunford Of The Veendam would say ”A good Captain always goes down with the ship!”

Here’s a special little bedtime story for High. So me and my comerade Deborah were strolling the ship lost again as usual but we found a group of the film crew so Deb being in the film industry as well{prop master/set dresser} for NY. has to stop and speak with everyone of them when all the sudden I turn around and lo and behold a sight not like any other - it was a rack full of all the wardrobe worn by the cast !!!Score!!!, the first section was Alice, then Dana, and there was The Niice jeans right in front of my eyes !!  in very reachable distance so Deb turns around just then and says Don't you even think about touching anything.. who me J  she goes back Yacking and I'm just looking then What do you think I did?

I touched them they were some kind of designer jeans and they were the ones she wore during the question & answer scene by the pool and the same ones she wore at The Crows nest Halloween party where she was Dancing right in front of me 2 steps away. Thats another story, but let me tell ya she's an excellent dancer she's got those Latin dance moves down pat! Then there was the captains uniform with the captains hat wrapped in a bag hanging from the same hanger as the Jacket and the really Niice black pants   Then I got caught! Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Then there was Mia's clothes Shanes Carmens etc on the Rack.

But High I could have quickly Grabbed the Niice jeans tore ass up the stairs and ran into any moving elevator and hid in one of the cleaning supply rooms till the coast was clear, but then poor Erin wouldn't have had any jeans to wear!!  J  I just couldn't do it to her! Sorry HIGH you must understand.LOL !!!

Post 3:

/HI all, So Day 1 Never been on a plane before, never been on a cruise before, but going for it all, just to experience what it's like to be an extra on the L Word, and to meet Erin, Leisha, Kate, and Mia , and lets not forget Mia's Momma(Momma Mia).  I thought that was really cute that she brought her mom, I mean I really wanted to go with my mom, Anyway, We land in Tampa from JFK airport, the plane ride was a blast I loved it and I loved being able to get a Sky Vodka & cranberry @ 8:00 am, afterall I'm officially on vacation/Holiday, so who gives a..... We get to the port @ 9:00am. We have to wait till 1:30 to board the ship. We meet lots of Lsbn. fans outside waiting people from S.Carolina were particularly funny, Canadians, calfornia, everyone was there and sadly enough not everyone on the cruise was there for The L Word. I think Olivia worked out a deal with Showtime to pack this Ship, What a grande Idea!

No star spotting, but, they held an extras meeting for the speaking parts. The way they picked you was BullSh*t{ It had nothing to do with the actors or anyone else to fall in that category, But the girl called b'days. and I think it was related to you're questionare you had to fill out with the release form, they ask you you're eye color, haircolor, weight. height, D.O.B. it was already calculated what type would get the speaking part, whenever she called B'day it would be 10 days before and after that date and who comes closest but they kept calling the same summer months over and over and then I said what about Jan/feb. the winter months and she said if your giving me your B'day I'll avoid calling it .so after wastin an hour and a half I got the F out of there! the rest of the night was spent Dining & wining, and exploring the boat!

Day2: Extras meeting ,they’re calling out the first 5 names and I'm one of them. They're shooting the Shawn Colvin concert the earlier show! I'm In!

The best part is yet to come because they need extras for the scene by the Lido pool Deck Beware spoilers are a coming!  It's the questions & answers Scene I know some of you heard about it, but they set up a table with 4 or 5 chairs and microphones in front I'm definitely imagining Dana in this sort of scenario and I'm right about the scene.  It's about Dana and the sex therapist Pheobe Sparkle. Dana and Miss Sparkle seem to have some sort of a connection! Maybe it's, French, just speculating. It took like 2 or more hours to shoot the scene. There was a part where an extra with a speakin part ask Miss Fairbanks will you marry me and the place went wild,clapping and whistlin all that good vibe was goin around and it happened everytime they shot that dialogue over, Everyone loves Alice & Dana as a couple, that’s for sure.

 

I was in the Background by tha pool the camera was pointing towards Dana and a woman to her left I'm the little peek hole Between them in the background with a fishnet coverup and curly hair and sunglasses,leaning on the raft by the pool.

They finish filming, and I catch Erin as she get up from the table and I know the timing is right so I walk over to her get in her face and tell in a true N.Y. accent "you are a terrific actress and she beams this smile at me and replies thanks so ,much then giggles like Dana would if someone complimented her I stroke her arm and said you're SOoo cute{ I wanted to say F'n cute}, but refrained. thats when I realized what a warm,beautiful down to mother earth person she really is.those Eyes and that smile in person is so much more in person. Sigh....

Post 4:

Sorry most important!  In the question and answer scene as part of the audience were, Alice,Jenny and,Shane,Thats when Jenny asks Ms sparkle something about a threesome.
Oh, I just watched The Kiss for the first time since the cruise happened, Seeing it now after the cruise their relationship takes on a different effect because they were on the cruise as an established couple already, it was episode 10+ (3 more to go.)

They really are pretty close off the set, it's obvious they're like best friends
and the chemistry is right there so everything works perfectly.

Post 5:

Whats up guys? heres another installment to add to that Day(October 31,2004) Like I said, she and the rest of the cast are smaller than you would imagine, but that’s cool, I was afraid they would be towering over me, well just a little.  By the Lido pool, Kate was the first to be spotted then Leisha, Mia Then J  Erin! Then they shot the scene I previously Explained! I kept bumping into Erin and the other cast the rest of the day, since they were all over the ship!

Believe it or not a ship full of 1205 people, it's not that difficult to keep bumping into the same people all week it's like one small floating town of Lesbians most of whom love the L word, what a wonderful little L word town it was.. Then I was surprised that there were some people who didn't know of the show, and some who kept calling the characters by the wrong name, for Ex. these two older woman were on the elevator with me and they kept reffering to Shane as Shawn.  I must admit it irked me. So I said, "you mean Shane" I guess I'm just used to talking to L Word junkies like ourselves.

3:00 was when we had to meet in the Rubens lounge for the 6:30 Shawn Colvin concert scene. They set where the cast was to be seated (I provided pics for you to view see photos) Left to right, Dana, Alice, Jenny, Carmen, Shane, and Pheobe.

Later that night.... Twas The Halloween Contest @ the Rubens lounge. There were so many great costumes. The comedians were dressed up, one was even Elvis. I Hmm Hmm, God If Erin Does read this I'll be revealing my true Identity, I'm getting to that story soon... I was..OZZY  My friend was Kelly Osbourne, cause its just easier to do Kelly than Sharon. Sharon needed to keep watch over Jack Okay? Every one is in line to go on stage and I can't believe I'm Bloody Hell doing this character stuff and we come on stage and all the sudden I turn into a Ham snapped into character, There’s Elvis. so I bow down to Elvis and all the while Holding an Empty Bottle of Vampire Cabernet Sauvignon 1997 made in Romania, but of course, I do remember it being Rather good at the time and had to save the bottle, Now I no why I did! I walk off stage complete with the Ozzy Shakes. I think about it now I want to fall into a ditch cause little did I know my audience consisted of the FAB FOUR Erin, Leisha, Kate, And Mia !!!

I didn't know it at the time, Thank God, But I found out shortly after. Towards the end of the contest, Elvis announces a surprise band Called HUNG.  The band members ran across the stage it was Erin in a Light blue bandana around her head looking cuter than Axle Rose ever did, Leisha with this drawn on moustache, from someone’s eyeliner pencil Shane with a goatee Drawn on her face, she was the funniest, and then Mia. They made their way to exit my friend hands me her digital camera and says, cut them off, so I take off and they are in the elevator Staring at me staring at them stunned like a deer caught in the headlight.  Someone yells "Let Ozzy IN" (I think it was Erin )  I'm not sure everything is like an acid trip from That moment on and the elevator was very small like 8'x6'.

In total shock, I was. I remember, I think it was kate saying look Ozzy's not shaking anymore and then me looking at Erin and Leisha like no one else existed in the elevator, I asked if I could take a picture and Erin and Leisha were in the right hand corner of the elevator posing for me with great big smiles holding each other, Would have made for a great picture Right? too bad my genius friend of mine didn't have it set for a close up shot it was set for a distant shot. Erin if you do read this that’s why I kept saying you guys are to close! The chance of a lifetime down the drain with only a blurry picture of my finger and the elevator carpet God!,I wish I had that pic. See It wasn't me it was that digital Sh*t modern Technology, yuck I Bet I would have had it with my cheap disposable Fuji camera. WE arrived at the 12th floor last stop the Crows Nest, They all exited and Kate’s holding her stomache saying that was too f#ckin funny they all laugh and left me, a stunned and bewildered Ozzy at the last floor going what the FUck just happened !

The fog lifts and I descend back down to my chambers to get that ridiculous costume off me! To keep in theme with the Hung Theme I'd figured I'd dress like a Hung Groupie Off with the Ozzy  wig, cape, sunglasses and shirt, on with A Sex Pistols T-shirt, Wet down my hair throw a black bandana around it and make way to the Crows Nest at this point my hairs back to its natural curly ways.  The bar is crowded and packed I get a can of Bud Lite the music is pumpin’ and a Latin beat song comes on and I see Erin running to the dance floor with Leisha and Kate in tow.   To my amazement, she starts doing these really cool Latin dance moves, Wow man she's a f#cking great Dancer! Even Kate and Leisha are watching her go! You Go girl after that song one of my favorites Outkasts "polaroid Picture comes on.[I secretly always thought that was the song that Dana was dancing to in the niice jeans on the Yacht but it was Get your back into it]

I secretly always had Imagined Erin or Dana Dancing to that song in the Niice jeans on the Yacht and there she was Two steps in front of me on the dancefloor shaking her booty in the niice jeans.  What a site I was just about to dance up two more steps towards her when The F#kin Hound with the headset yells GET BACK Geez Bite My Head Off! the song ends and Erin takes a break, I order Corona W/lime and who's talking to a guy dressed like priest next to me but Erin with the hound in tow who shoos Erin away!

Post 6:

Damn that was me again that Dana/Erin Flu is going around again I must have caught this bad strain on the ship, Hold on Ah..Ah Choo! damn! This is really bad.. Strains of Dana in the Bikini and captains uniform sans the captains hat and Erin in the niice Jeans. Ah CHOO! J Pardon moi !

Where was I, oh yeah I don't know How I survive being in that little elevator with the Fab Four and not faint!

The Shawn Colvin concert was being filmed and during it there’s a scene with Alice leaning her head on Danas shoulder whispering something like Come on babe or something cause she leans in to kiss her on her lips, [Screaming] and I can't see because the damn railing is right in my view of their mouths and Alice starts rubbing Dana's arm and inner thigh and Dana says stop, stop don't and I Thought I heard somewhere that Dana had something in her pants ,maybe a strap on or something, thats why Alice is rubbing her inner thigh? maybe?

The rest of the cast leave and Alice and Dana stay for the remainder of the concert at least to the 2nd to last song, the lights go up and they were gone.

Post 7:

This Scene was shot at the other end of the ship where the Aft pool was. Erin was wearing a Black Bikini top !!!  in which the string that wrapped around the front under the bikini top and tied in the back, a light gray patterned sarong, and this great straw sun hat which was bent up in front, and these great sunglasses, SSOoo F*cking hot.

If it was 90 degrees out it now went up to 180 degrees real quick, I'm drinking an Ice cold Carona & lime at that time pressing the bottle against my forehead witnessing this by the pool. Lets not forget Leisha also looking hot, the Hottest I've ever seen her, in a red and white Bikini with a sheer white cover up, they both looked so F**ing fine too bad this wasn't a kissing scene cause it would have definitely sent me over the edge into the pool for sure along with a hundred others!

The scene consisted of Dana and Alice descending from the stairs to the deck of the pool. Then Dana meets some fans at the bottom of the stairs on the deck and they greet her saying can we have your autograph, I drive a Subaru because of you .... and Alice keeps walking over to the side of the pool where I was standing and goes over to Ms sparkle who is holding the sex book she wrote and Alice introduces herself to her and Shane walks over to Alice and says something to her I forgot like hey Alice or something. Jenny's dancing with some dancers on the other side of the pool and Mia's mom is in the scene with Alice, Ms Sparkle and Shane and extras.  Carmen does a walk through the deck and disappears.

They kept shooting the scene with Dana and Alice coming down the stairs several times and every time they yelled cut we got another chance of them both in their Biikinis, Phew wishing for plenty of CUT Lets do another take! YEAH!!!

Then at one point off camera, on the stairs,  it was a cute moment where Leisha adjusted Erin’s Bikini top that extra string that went around the bottom front of the top, I wonder how many other people noticed or was it just me...  Anyhow Erin looked like such a Movie star in that ensemble.
