What We Can Do!

Back in August 2005, Erin Daniels, in the Q&A she so graciously participated in, indicated that MS was a major cause for her.

Since that time, I have been pondering what we as a fan site and fan site community can do to support a cause that is obviously of such personal importance to her. As such, I decided to set up a donation pool through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her honor.

The donation pool will be open from now until the end of the Season 3 run of Showtime's The L Word. (roughly 13 weeks).

DONATIONS RAISED TO DATE : $985 as of January 27, 2007.

Where does the money go? The money raised will be a part of the Promise : 2010 campaign from the NMSS. This campaign is a commitment on their part to raise $30 million to fund four targeted areas that hold great potential in the fight against the devastating effects of MS, but which have so far been under-explored. MS is generally diagnosed in persons aged 20-50 and two to three times as many women as men have MS. If you would like to learn more about MS or the Promise : 2010 Campaign, visit the NMSS Website.
